Perth-based HR Compliance Auditing

WHAT
is an HR Compliance Audit?

An HR compliance audit strengthens an organisation’s corporate governance by checking your contracts, policies and processes against Fair Work, AHRC, WorkSafe and state legislation; and tells you exactly where you're exposed before a regulator, an ex-employee or a court does.

WHO
needs one?

  • Businesses that have never had their HR documentation formally reviewed

  • Start up organisations that have grown faster than their HR system

  • Leaders inheriting contracts and policies they didn't write

  • Organisations looking to reduce preventative costs like turnover, recruitment, sick leave, safety accidents, workers compensation, legal costs or insurance premiums

  • Anyone wanting proof of compliance before a due diligence process, funding round or sale.

HOW
we do it

❶ We meet with you for 1 hour on Teams or Zoom to audit your business.

âť· We review your existing contracts, policies and processes against current legislation, flag every gap, to fix areas of business risk and any people pain points.

❸ We provide you with an audit report and roadmap of priority actions to implement.

âťą We offer support to implement your roadmap of priority actions, for additional cost.

The Benefits

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an audit actually cover?

Employment contracts, policies, and HR processes, checked against Fair Work, AHRC, WorkSafe WA and other state legislation. I also discuss any specific culture pain points with interventions to address the issues at its root cause.

Do you just find the gaps, or fix them too?

Both. An audit provides you with an HR compliance report including a roadmap of priority actions to mitigate business risk. Depending on your budget and risk ratings, I can also quote implementing priority actions.

Can you identify training gaps with our supervisors?

Absolutely, we identify work, health and safety knowledge gaps and people skills that supervisors need to help their teams stay safe, grow and thrive.   Our team of consultants offer tailored, cost effective training solutions, onsite or remotely.  This includes ongoing coaching support.

How often should we audit?

At minimum whenever legislation changes materially, or after significant growth or restructuring.

Can this be automated going forward?

Often, yes we can help build compliant processes into Office 365 or HR software where it makes sense, so they run without manual follow-up.

How much does an HR Compliance Audit cost?

An HR compliance audit report costs $700 + GST.
